From beginning to end our garments are locally manufactured, from the weaving of our bamboo/cottonblend fabric right through to cut, sew and printing. We're strong believers in supporting our economy, and want to demonstrate that Canadians don't need to be dependent on off-shore manufacturers.
Through our use of sustainable materials and local manufacturing we aim to do our part in maintaining an ecological balance and avoid depletion of our natural resources. Local manufacturing helps reduce transport costs and the carbon they require.
At Dry Goods, we use PVC/Phthalate Free Inks and 100% biodegradable cleaners made from soybeans, which are completely environmentally friendly. More than ever, consumers are beginning to recognize the impact of their decisions, and the balance between our needs and the needs of the environment. That's why here, at Dry Goods, we are taking all practical steps to replace conventional products with better alternatives, while supporting a vital part of our local economy.
